Louise wasn't even surprised

Suddenly, a flying saucer appeared out of nowhere and dropped off Carlos, Amway salesmen of the year, two years running, in a beam of light. Carlos, disoriented, recently probed, reverted to his inner core; always the salesman, he tried to pitch to Louise, unaware that she wasn’t the “decision maker”. Now, you might think a cow would be surprised or alarmed, but not Louise. Oh no, she's seen it all. Louise, felt a little bad for him… but you just can’t open the door to Amway, so she just kept munching grass, barely giving him a second glance. 

In the end, dropped, defeated, and deflated, Carlos packed up his wares and wandered away. “Maybe the next pasture would need self-sharpening knives?”
